• Simplified banking & reconciliation (v2.9) — expand any bank transaction, pick or correct how it should be posted, and save. Re-explaining a transaction automatically voids the old ledger posting and books the new one in a single atomic transaction, so your books never drift. Rows created from a source document show a read-only link back to that invoice, bill or expense.
• Line-item custom fields (v2.8) — add your own columns (HSN Code, Batch Number, Serial Number, MPN, Expiry…) to the item table of invoices, purchases, POs, quotations, credit/debit notes and delivery challans. Values print on the document and auto-fill from the matching product field, so HSN or batch data is entered once and flows everywhere.
• Unified Items & one-dropdown Taxes (v2.7) — the Product/Service split is gone; an item is one lean form with a single “Track inventory” switch. Tax Rates and Tax Groups merged into one Taxes page, and each document line now has a single Tax dropdown.
• Automatic India GST splits (v2.7) — select one “GST 18%” and the engine derives CGST 9% + SGST 9% intra-state (UTGST for union territories) or IGST 18% inter-state, based on the customer’s state. GSTR-style component reporting keeps working.
• Customer account credit (v2.5) — grant a customer a running credit balance, properly posted to the ledger as a liability (not a cosmetic discount), then redeem it as a payment method on any future invoice. Voids and deletions restore the balance automatically.
• Staff Activity report + public quotation links (v2.5) — see invoices created, updated, deleted and total value per staff member; share quotations through a token-gated public link, exactly like invoices.

Really double-entry. Every invoice, bill, payment, payroll run and bank line posts journal entries to a chart of accounts — the Trial Balance, P&L and Balance Sheet are derived from those postings, so they always tie out.

Do I need an AI subscription to use it?
No. AI document extraction and insights use your own API key when you want them; every other feature works without any AI provider configured.

Can I add my own fields, like HSN or batch numbers?
Yes — define custom fields at document level or as line-item columns from Settings, with no code changes. They print on documents and can auto-fill from the product record.
