DramaNow is a cross-platform Flutter mobile application (iOS & Android) for streaming short-form vertical dramas — bingeable, episodic “micro-drama” series. Built for the fast-growing short-drama entertainment market, it combines a polished native mobile UI with a production-ready backend powered by Supabase, Firebase Remote Config, and RevenueCat subscriptions.
The app is organized around five main tabs — Discover, Shorts, Rewards, My List, and Profile — giving users a complete journey from finding a series to binge-watching it episode by episode. Browse a curated, multi-genre catalog of short dramas, tap into a vertical full-screen episode player, and keep watching where you left off. A built-in coin economy,
daily check-ins, rewarded ads, and a VIP subscription unlock premium episodes and remove ads.

Backend Options (both included)

The mobile app can run with either backend — you choose one path; both are included in the
package
and work separately:

• Supabase — database, auth, edge functions, and catalog managed in Supabase (schema, seed,
  RevenueCat webhook). Ideal if you want a mobile-first setup without deploying the web app.
• Next.js admin / Web API — the included short-drama-next platform (admin panel,
  Prisma + PostgreSQL, and mobile REST under /api/v1/). Ideal if you want a full web admin and
  browser streaming site that the mobile app can also talk to.

You do not need both at the same time. Pick Supabase or the Next.js web API for the mobile backend — whichever fits your launch plan.

Content Disclosure

DramaNow ships as a complete streaming platform with a demo catalog so you can run it end-to-end
out of the box:

• Demo series artwork uses placeholder images that you replace with your own poster and hero key-art.
• Demo episodes use sample videos so playback works during testing — you replace these with your own licensed
  video content.
• The full catalog (genres, series, seasons, episodes, and home shelves) is managed entirely by you.

You are responsible for the drama content you distribute. DramaNow provides the app, backend, and
catalog tooling; sourcing and licensing the actual videos is up to you.

Disclaimer

This app is built to work with a backend you choose — Supabase (database, auth, edge functions)
or the included Next.js web API / admin — plus third-party services: Firebase
(Remote Config, Analytics, Crashlytics), RevenueCat (VIP subscriptions), OneSignal (push), and optional AdMob
ads (banner & rewarded). Hosting accounts and streaming/CDN costs are not included in the purchase — you
will
need to create your own accounts, configure API keys, and manage usage yourself. Basic familiarity with
Firebase,
your chosen backend, and mobile store setup is recommended before launching.
